I think it has to do with the amp, but if I have the volume somewhat low I can hear a faint buzzing/ringing sound. When I turn it up it seems to go away. I don't know if it just sounds it out, or it actually goes away.

Any ideas?

My bet would be that somewhere along the lines some of your speaker wires are toching. This can cause a buzzing noise like you have mentioned. If you have some spliced speaker wires make sure the ends are secured with electrical tape. Really it's a smart move to put electrical tape on the ends of all your wires. Something else is simply to make sure that all your analog cables are completely plugged in. I'm assuming your using analog as it is pretty common. Other than the wires I'm not sure, it could be lots of things. Without seeing your setup I can't really help you out anymore. Oh and the buzzing more than likely doesn't go away at higher volumes, you probably just can't hear it anymore.

I'd agree with Sleeper. I don't know much about cars, but i have hooked up my fair share of systems. Idk how you hooked up you're sound system, but check all your wires and make sure they are secured the way they need to be. I know sometimes when I've Crimped wires together that when i go to put the head unit it or w.e. the wires can get ripped out or loosen up when I'm in the process of putting everything together.

usually its a wire situation like everyone is sayin and more than likely its a ground so just go through and check the wiring. hope that helps good luck

get better ground that is closer to the amp the longer the ground wire the worse it will sound. this is true with your signal wires also.dont have a bunch of wire sitting somewhere, cut it and make it shorter.

It was proffesionaly installed so that shouldn't be the issue. I checked my amp and a wire was a little lose, so i think that fixed the problem.
